I recently stopped by Command Coffee at College & Fall Creek for the first time and got the grand tour from Danny, the owner and visionary behind Indy’s newest café.
Their coffee is roasted in-house in small batches, and they currently offer a Colombian coffee in a light and a dark roast, as well a decaf. I had a latte with the light roast, and it was *right*. They have a small pastry selection that is both local and super affordable as well as a growing menu with made-to-order snacks (the avocado toast looks amazing).
Command Coffee has already created a welcoming environment with big dreams to serve their surrounding community by meeting them where they are.
Helpful tips: (1) there are entrances on Fall Creek & College, (2) they open super early (like, 5 early) and close around 7 ,(3) the indoor seating is super comfy and beautiful.
Like most of you, I’ve driven by this (mostly) vacant building for nearly a decade, hoping something awesome & local would rejuvenate this intersection, and our wait is finally over. I’m so excited to see how Command Coffee grows and impacts the Indianapolis coffee community.
Stop in or check out the drive thru and tell Danny that Scott sent you. And of course let me know what you think after you go!
