Roast Rides are our free monthly local coffee shop bike tours in partnership with our friends at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail. We meet up at The Orange Bridge on the Canal on a Saturday morning, hop on bikes—our own bikes or free bikes courtesy of our friends at Pacers Bikeshare—and visit a few local coffee shops along the Cultural Trail.
We learn so much about the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, its amazing impacts on the city, the local coffee shops we’re visiting, the local coffee community, and the wonderful city of Indianapolis. Not to mention: bike people, coffee people, and group ride people are all amazing, so we also all meet so many new friends on each ride.
Exploring our community from by bikes while drinking amazing local coffee is truly the best and only way to experience the city, and we’re so glad to be leading rides for another year.

There’s so much to talk about and love when it comes to our Roast Rides. If you’ve been on a ride with us already, you know how I can (and will and do) talk for hours and hours about the rides, the Indianapolis Cultural Trail, our amazing local coffee shops, and everything in-between.

MARION COUNTY RESIDENTS: You’re eligible for an IndyRides Free pass courtesy of our friends at Pacers Bikeshare and their support from the Herbert Simon Family Foundation. The IndyRides Free pass gets you unlimited and FREE 30-minute rides on the Pacers Bikeshare bikes—both the classic bikes and their beautiful new e-bikes!
Sign up for your free pass over on pacersbikeshare.org/indy-rides-free.
I have my own bike, but I use my IndyRides Free pass all the time to bop around downtown while I’m out running errands or just exploring different parts of the city with friends and family. It’s a dream to not have to worry about our car or parking or traffic or anything. AND IT’S FREE!
