We could not be more excited to announce that we are extending our partnership with our friends at the Indianapolis Cultural Trail through the end of August!

New Roast Ride Dates!

Earlier this year, we announced Roast Rides, our free local coffee shop bike tours along the Cultural Trail in downtown Indianapolis. The rides have been a SMASH so far, so we had to do what we had to do—we added even more dates for the summer AND we doubled the capacity for each ride! Our friend Courtney Thompson—who you may remember as a former barista and coffee professional from Coat Check and Provider—has joined as a cohost so we can bring even more friends along for the rides.

Roast Rides Summer Dates

Roast Rides will continue to be on Saturday mornings throughout the summer, and we’ve got some great dates lined up! Limited tickets are available for each ride, and tickets become available exactly 2 weeks before the ride. So make sure to check out the Eventbrite links below, and add them to your calendars!

Introducing IndyRides Free + New E-bikes!!

One of the many amazing things about our Roast Rides with the Cultural Trail is that our friends at the Pacers Bikeshare program offer a limited number of free bikes for each ride! And if you didn’t hear, they just had a HUGE NEW ANNOUNCEMENT in tandem with the launch of their new e-bikes: the IndyRides Free program!

Thanks to the Herbert Simon Family Foundation, Marion County residents can ride Pacers Bikeshare for free, 30-minute trips! All you have to do is sign up for an IndyRides Free pass over on the Pacers Bikeshare website. Learn more about this amazing and innovative program and sign up today. (Definitely not sponsored, just definitely super excited!)

You all know that I’m constantly biking all over the place on my bike (which I love), but I still signed up for an IndyRides Free pass. It’s going to be so great when I’m already downtown and need to zip around while running errands, coasting with friends down the Cultural Trail, or just getting to my next local coffee stop. Plus, my bike is just a regular, boring old bike. With the IndyRides Free pass, I can ride one of the sweet new e-bikes that were just added to the Pacers Bikeshare fleet (look for the white bikes!). We got to ride the e-bikes for the May Roast Ride, and they were SO COOL.

Can’t make a Roast Ride?

Tickets for our Roast Rides tend to go fast, and we know everyone’s schedules are hectic. If you can’t make a Roast Ride or want to host your own local coffee shop bike tour with your friends, we keep our Local Coffee Shops along The Cultural Trail guide up to date, so you always know where to find the best local coffee along the trail!

See you on The Cultural Trail

Listen, I’m going to keep telling you about how hosting free local coffee shop bike tours in partnership with the Indianapolis Cultural Trail is a DREAM COME TRUE. I am beyond excited to offer more dates to even more riders this summer, and I will continue to scream from the rooftops how much I love local coffee and the Cultural Trail.

Thank you all for your support and for following along. Can’t wait to see you out along the trail!

Special thanks to our friend Leah for the amazing photos of this ride! @leahtribproductions
