Which Indianapolis Coffee Shops Get Listed?

The Indianapolis Coffee Guide was originally born because I needed it. I had a hard time (and still do) finding local Indianapolis coffee shops online. The lists that exist (hey, Yelp!) are littered with corporate chains and donut shops, making it hard to weed out the good local coffee shops. These same lists also get bogged down by non-cafes that happen to serve coffee or have ‘coffee’ mentioned in their reviews. What I needed was a curated list of all of the coffee shops in Indianapolis and just those—not a Top 5 list, not an outdated list in a newspaper. I needed a list that cared about the coffee shops and not just about the readership of their content. I needed something evergreen that evolved. And I couldn’t find it because it didn’t exist. The more I asked around about it, the more I realized I wasn’t alone in wanting a resource like this. So what did I do? I made the dang thing.
