Community

1) Indy.
2) Coffee.
3) Community.

These are the three guiding principles used to determine who shares this platform. The first two are actually pretty easy. Be Indy-based and Indy-focused, and care about the coffee you serve. 

And then there’s Community. 

All three are non-negotiable, but Community is the fastest deal-breaker because it applies not exclusively to the coffee community, but also to our whole community. 

In this community, we believe Black lives matter. We believe women’s rights are human rights. We believe women. We believe the LGBTQ+ community is equal and that love is love. We believe in the American opportunity to practice any or no religion as long as it does not impinge on someone else’s rights. We believe immigrants add incredible value to our community and that no one is illegal. We believe anyone with a different perspective than our own adds value to our conversations. We believe in equality and equity. And we definitely believe in science. We don’t just believe all of these things, we know all of these things. 

Every person’s unique experiences, joys, triumphs, and hardships mean something to us. We celebrate these with everyone. We love you, and we’re glad you’re here.
