About Barista Parlor

Fun Scott Fact: I lived in Nashville before I moved to Indianapolis! So, I’ve been a Barista Parlor fan for a long time. When I heard they were coming to Indianapolis inside the newly renovated Stutz building, I was obviously super jazzed.

While Barista Parlor isn’t technically an Indianapolis-based coffee shop, I still wanted to include them on the Indianapolis Coffee Guide for a few reasons.

First, Barista Parlor has been pushing the bounding of local, specialty coffee for a long time. Sure, it wasn’t in Indianapolis, but it was in Nashville.

Second, the baristas at Barista Parlor Indianapolis are incredible baristas who really understand the craft of local coffee and care about the local coffee community.

There has been some backlash at Barista Parlor in Nashville as a company over the last few years. I’ve had personal conversations with the folks here in Indianapolis. As far as I know, they are being treated fairly, and the company is treating them very well.
