The Best Broad Ripple Coffee Shops

Broad Ripple is easily one of my favorite areas of Indianapolis to explore, especially with the easy access to the Monon and so many other trails. It’s also known for its eclectic and vibrant variety of amazing local restaurants and, of course, coffee shops.

Monon Coffee Company

One of my favorite places on the planet is Monon Coffee Company in Broad Ripple. This funky café on the Monon has been an Indianapolis staple for over 2 decades and has all the vibes you ever need. Maybe it’s the local art; maybe it’s the local pastries and food; maybe it’s the coffee. Either way, it’s a must must must for visiting Broad Ripple.

Perk Up Café

Perk Up Café is another staple Broad Ripple coffee shop that’s been around for a while. Tucked right off the Monon, Perk Up bakes all of its own goodies in-house and boasts Indy’s only manual, three-lever espresso machine. This woman-owned business also roasts its own coffee, so really what else do you need?

Prufrock Coffee Company

Hello! I’m so glad you asked about where to find the best vanilla latte in Indianapolis! You can find it at one of Broad Ripple’s best coffee shops: Prufrock Coffee Company. Just ask for the Mean Vanilla Bean Latte (with oat milk if you’re feeling fancy), and we’ll be new best friends.

Prufrock is nestled at the corner of 52nd & College Ave in South Broad Ripple (SoBro) and is conveniently at a Red Line stop. There’s honestly no reason not to go.

Hubbard & Cravens

You can’t really talk about Broad Ripple coffee shops (or Indianapolis coffee for that matter) without talking about Hubbard & Cravens. Besides the fact that their roaster is located in Broad Ripple, Hubbard & Cravens has TWO coffee shops in Broad Ripple. They’ve long been an Indy staple, and nothing is going to change that any time soon.

Foundation Coffee Company

Another Broad Ripple coffee shop that’s just south in SoBro is Foundation Coffee Company. Foundation is a not-for-profit café that directly supports The Patachou Foundation, which serves hungry children in Indianapolis. This cute little coffee shop on 46th Street dials in delicious coffee and has a vibrant food and pastry menu with something for everyone.
